Terpenes are the main component of essential oil and have a decisive influence on the aroma of plants products such as hemp/cannabis, herbs, spices or fruits. Particularly in hemp/cannabis products, terpenes are said to have a synergistic effect with the cannabinoids, which is the focus of research (“entourage effect”).
In order to provide you with information about the terpene profile of your products, our partner QSI now offers the quantitative determination of the following terpenes in food and pharmaceutical products , also under GMP conditions.
- Eucalyptol (1,8-Cineol)
The analysis is performed by gas chromatography associating a mass spectrometer. The limit of quantification is 0.01 mg/kg. We would be pleased to provide you with an individual offer.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the analysis or in case you have special requirements.
